A Book Where Readers Will Understand A Simple Telling of How Diseases are Passed Down Genetically.
This is a book written for people who tend to get stressed out when they are told about these diseases I'll be writing about, It should ease the reader and help them understand it better.
Our Stories:
My name is Mikalah Smith, I'm a 15 year old writer who was inspired to write this book because of a project that was projected to me, I have SLE(Lupus) which i was diagnosed with at the age of 5 years, and it's been with me since.
Next is Dale Taylor, A lady who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis(CF) from the time she was born, It has been difficult for her because of the stereotyping of how a person should look with CF, but that hasn't stopped her from becoming the person she has become.
Lastly is my Mom, Natasha Smith, in her early 40's and she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2022, and it then later in 2025 became Stage 4 metastatic, she's been through a lot but she constantly remains positive and happy.
